Founded by Angel Wong, a five-time champion of the Bun Scrambling Competition, Urban Stone Climbing Gym started business in Kwai Chung in June 2022. It comprises multiple facilities, including the bouldering area and the top-rope area. All bouldering routes are meticulously designed by professional Japanese routesetters, and will be rearranged biweekly to maintain novelty for players of different ages and levels.
Spanning 4,000 square feet, Urban Stone Climbing Gym offers monthly subscription plans and a rich variety of courses, and can host private bouldering events for different organizations. The two camping-themed leisure areas are a major highlight, allowing visitors to immerse in an outdoor ambience while they rest up or exchange climbing tips with the other players.

Thanks to the Tokyo Olympic Games, indoor climbing has experienced a surge in local popularity, leading to a robust growth of the climbing gym industry. Long before she retired from her athletic career, Angel started to have the idea of promoting stone climbing by opening an indoor climbing gym. As a five-time Bun Scrambling champion, Angel endeavours to encourage more people to experience the fun of this sport through doing promotions in secondary schools that are equipped with rock climbing facilities. She herself also coaches students, allowing them to unleash their energy when they are off campus. At the same time, certificate courses are regularly held by Urban Stone Climbing Gym to train young people with potential and interest to develop an athletic career.
